My Attempt at Making Home Made Sushi

I love anime, nothing new there, so it’ll come to no surprise that I love sushi too, but unfortunately for me and my fellow “aspiring” (i.e BROKE) musicians, its not exactly the cheapest meal to invest in…

ENTER WAITROSE!!
I went out, bought the damn ingredients myself, and watched some “how to make sushi” videos online… AND IT TURNED OUT AWSOME!! 😀 EPIC WIN FOR PULSEY!

One of the rolls is a crispy chicken and avocado mega crunch roll and the other a shrimp and avocado explosion roll. Yes, I just made those names up myself.

Lady Gaga & Polaroid Join Forces To Make Crazy Tv Screen Shades That Records VIDEO!

Lady Gaga’s weirdo Polaroid glasses are about to turn our faces into Facebook feeds and mood rings.

The glasses have two little screens in them. The weird thing is that they face outward. You can imagine the scene as Polaroid’s suit brigade and accountants took the pitch from Gaga, stammering and wondering what they got themselves into and if they’d willingly let her take the company down with her. It makes no sense on first thought. OR DOES IT.

at people look into each other’s eyes when they talk to each other. And that eyes say a lot, powerfully and subtly, on their own. Winking, rolling, smizing, crying, squinting, for starters. Gaga’s glasses take direct advantage of the way we lock gazes when we converse in person, but they kind of throw a nuke down on the subtly of eye based body language. It’s more like they replace it, sunglasses betraying nothing, while user-selected, pixel precise messaging comes through the screens. Think of it as flickr or a facebook photo album for your face. Loaded with hamburgers if someone’s hungry, hearts if they’re in love, videos of thunderclouds rolling slowly in if someone is pissed off. The screens could output colors to match clothing or moods. Anything is possible.

Amazing Futuristic iPhone Stand

We’ve seen plenty of iPhone stands over the last few months, but this sleek iPhone cradle concept looks good enough to set itself apart from the rest. It features video-out, a charging dock, external function touch-sensitive keys, a clock and display. Not too bad for a simple dock. Best of all, it looks futuristic and smart. Would such a design be enough to make it a success?

The PlayStation Phone Unveiled In China

It was just two days ago when the elusive PlayStation Phone popped up on a Hong Kong forum, and now it’s back again in full exposure thanks to Chinese website IT168. It’s now confirmed that said Xperia-branded device is powered by a Qualcomm Adreno 205 GPU, along with what’s likely to be a 1GHz Snapdragon QSD8255 as featured on the HTC Desire HD. Interestingly, Neocore is reporting an impressive 59.1fps benchmark, which is a huge improvement from our exclusive look back in early December. Quadrant also reports a high score of 1,733, but hey, there’s no saying that this is the final build, so the graphics performance may get even better.

Other tidbits found in the latest leak include the generous battery capacity of 1,500mAh, the 854 x 480 resolution on a 4-inch LCD, a 5 megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash sans 720p video recording (although it’s probably just that the leaksters didn’t look in all the submenu in the camera app), 512MB RAM, 512MB ROM, a microSD slot, SIM slot, micro-USB, and a second mic on the back for active noise cancellation à la Nexus One. Interestingly, the still-empty game launcher app is now called “PlayStation Pocket.” We’re still unclear just what the app will run; will it be PSOne games (the company has written an emulator before), PSP games, or an entirely new lineup? (In contrast, the PSP Go has a 333MHz processor, 64MB RAM, and a 3.8-inch 480 x 272 display — albeit on different, not-quite-comparable architecture.) Hopefully we’ll know soon enough, eh Kaz? Anyhow, you can peruse some pictures and videos below, and definitely check out IT168 for the full skinny on this (somewhat tick) device.

The Sunday Refix: The White Stripes Cover In ONE TAKE!

Week…erm..25 I think?

ANYWAY! this week i thought “FUCK IT! Im gonna do a refix in 1 take!” and the result is this cover I did a while back by my HERO jack white from the white stripes.

As I said, the ENTIRE thing was done in a single take, as a way of respecting jacks views about keeping music restricted and raw.

now grime and hip hop fans might not understand this AT ALL, but songs like these are a massive part of who I am, and seeing as these are My refixes not yours, you’re just gonna have to deal with it aint ya! :p

well thats all from me! I hope you all had a verrrrry merry christmas and I’ll see you wonderful people next week!

PEACE!
