Mixing Down The New Faith SFX Feature Album: Man or Machine

When I first decided to build my own studio, I pre-planned out every single last detail except for probably the most vital one: “who’s gonna engineer?” that left me with no option but to self teach myself, and 3 years on I can proudly say i’ve mixed projects like Scorcher- Simply The Best Vol.1, Frisco – Back To Da Lab 2, Chipmunk – Whatever The Weather Vol 1&2, as well as ALL my own stuff including Full Metal ALchemist.

Now ever since my solo work took a sudden turn for the best, I’ve Srayed from mixing other peoples projects as its SO time consuming, but when my mate Faith Sfx told me the sound he wanted was that of my mixtape full metal, i thought “why not? mixing other peoples stuff wasnt THAT bad right?”

WRONG
Faiths New Project is a VERY challenging one at that: every single instrumental of every single track track was made by ONLY his mouth, which is quite frankly, insane. As if that wasn’t sick enough, it features the very cream of the underground scene from the likes of chipmunk, ghetts, p-money, dot rotten and lowkey down to new draft pics like maxsta, double s, there’s even a feature from yours truly heh heh πŸ˜€

As amazing as this feature album is, I’m VERY VERY happy that this sunday is my last day working on it as its stopped me doing all the amazing-ness planned for your guys like my free downloads and starting my show (more on that later).

It also means ill stop looking like this:

and go back to looking like this:

Im not quiiiite sure when the release date for “Man Or Machine” is but I’ll be sure to keep you updated here. look out for it! :p

These concept designs are from designer Seraphan and man, I REALLY hope the final product ends up looking like this when they actually come out! ^_^!

The Porsche 918 Spyder

Porsche just released a video showing the new 918 Spyder concept, its new 918 Spyder is a mid-engined sports car with plug-in hybrid, powered by both a 500-horsepower V8 and a pair of electric motors (on the front and rear axle) producing an additional 218 hp or 160kW. It can reach 62 mph in 3.2 seconds, a top-end speed of 198 mph. The best past about it is that Porsche says it can also achieve 78 miles per gallon and emit just 70 grams of CO2 per kilometer.

Japan Unveils 3DTV across the nation

Kicking off an expected repeat flood of 3DTV info over the next few days (Samsung and Panasonic both have events scheduled over the next couple of days) Sony has revealed pricing and shipping information for its new televisions and related accessories in Japan. With IR emitter built in and two pairs of RealD active shutter glasses, all you’ll need to add is a source to the 60-, 51-, 46- and 40-inch models, ranging in price from Β₯580,000 ($6,444) to Β₯290,000 ($3,222.) Even if the TDG-BR100 / TDG-BR50 3D glasses (also available as an accessory for Β₯12,000 ($133) or so) aren’t on your face this WiFi-connected abyss of entertainment will look back into you, using face tracking to detect if someone is sitting too close and warn them to move back, as well as dimming and eventually turning off the screen if you leave the room or simply looked away from the TV for an extended period.
