big shout out to everyone that turned up last night and showed the love! if was pretty dead for a while, and even when there were a few peeps it looked more like a place to casualy meet and have a drink:

but then when i was on mic with the mighty tomb crew on deck it started to really move!

Again thanks for all the love and support, and a special thank you to the group that felt the need to come over EVERY time I dropped a bar to explain IN DETAIL why they enjoyed each and every line hahaha, LOVE IT!

A Home Made SUPER Computer

the last post of the official ‘computer tech’ blog day.

In my quest to enlist candidates for my super awesome nerd genius army or ‘SANGA i came across this guy: meet Paul.
Paul put together 24 solid-state drives into a RAID array to a total 6 6TB size which achieved a mesmerizing speeds of 2GB per second.

put simply, this computer can do madness. It rips a dvd onto computer in 0.5 SECONDS! check the vid for the other crazy things it can do!

It features a Intel Atom Z530 1.6GHz or Z510 1.1GHz processor, Intel GMA500 graphics, 1GB RAM, a 2.5″ SATA HDD, a miniSD card slot, WiFi, 6 USB 2.0 ports and HDMI out. The prices ranging from $245 to $396 depending on the configuration.

NEC 43′ Curved Display

I dont know why this reminds me of tony stark, maybe im just having pre-ironman2-watching-jitters but either way, this is just amwaazing, yes i added an ‘m’. no, dont ask me why :p

but anyway!
The NEC’s new 43-inch curved LCD on sale July, featuring 2880 x 900 pixel resolution, it looks amazing! It will cost you $8,000! More specs: 200 cd/m² brightness, 0.02ms Rapid Response, 10,000:1 contrast ratio, Wide color gamut with 100% coverage of sRGB and 99.3% coverage of Adobe RGB, USB Ports, DVI-D and HDMI 1.3 input connectors. As its $8000 price tag, you may consider to get two 21″ LCDs.
