Kicking off an expected repeat flood of 3DTV info over the next few days (Samsung and Panasonic both have events scheduled over the next couple of days) Sony has revealed pricing and shipping information for its new televisions and related accessories in Japan. With IR emitter built in and two pairs of RealD active shutter glasses, all you’ll need to add is a source to the 60-, 51-, 46- and 40-inch models, ranging in price from ¥580,000 ($6,444) to ¥290,000 ($3,222.) Even if the TDG-BR100 / TDG-BR50 3D glasses (also available as an accessory for ¥12,000 ($133) or so) aren’t on your face this WiFi-connected abyss of entertainment will look back into you, using face tracking to detect if someone is sitting too close and warn them to move back, as well as dimming and eventually turning off the screen if you leave the room or simply looked away from the TV for an extended period.

‘Draw’ Your Own Light Design In Your Living Room!
So you can’t be a conductor of any musical symphony nor do you have any creativity in painting and art. Tough luck, but what if I gave you this magical wand, that allowed you to transform your ceiling into a magical landscape of color LEDs, that brighten up and dim at the flick of your wrist, wouldn’t you be the Mozart of lights? Draw The Lights makes you a capable light conductor! What I mean is that clusters of LEDs take command from this “light brush” in your hand, and sparkle to create mesmerizing ambient settings. If creativity gets the better of you, how about creating artwork with the lights? Fancy!
Get your passports, we’re going to space
multi-billionaire and all-round gangster Richard Branson issued a statement saying that test flights of his commercial-space travel rocket is due to begin as early as 2011! this means we could be able to hope on a rocket and visit space within the next few years. Brings a whole new meaning to the term “space boy fly” right?

More Pics and info of the brand New unreleased Blackberry
What looked like a drizzle last night seems to be turning into a full on downpour. The folks over at BlackBerry Leaks have gotten themselves even more facetime with that mysterious BlackBerry slider device — and it looks a lot better than we thought. Right now the theories are flying about just exactly what kind of phone this is, with BBL suggesting it might be the next phone in the Storm family, while Kevin over at CrackBerry has it on good authority that this new handset will be part of the Bold line. Kevin also says that the rumors he’s heard on this device call for a 360 x 480 touchscreen display (sans SurePress) and expectations for BlackBerry OS 6.0 to be onboard. The pictured phone apparently has a battery issue which is keeping it from powering up, but hopefully someone will find a way to spark this thing to life and we can get some more solid info. For now, check out one more pic after the break.

Exclusive Pic of the new blackberry!!!
You can consider my mind completely and utterly blown tonight, as I’ve just stumbled upon these photos of what appears to be a new BlackBerry device… a vertical slider. The source (BlackBerry Leaks) doesn’t seem to be able to confirm the legitimacy of the photos, but im mostly convinced that this is some variation of a RIM device. While BB Leaks speculates on the possibility of this being the Storm 3, Kevin Michaluk over at CrackBerry suggests this might not be a device headed to market, rather an early version which has been scrapped, similar to that Magnum handset that floated onto the internet recently (though Kevin suggests that our friends in Canada may very well have plans for something in this form factor). What I can say with assurance, however, is that this device coupled with those new BIS 3.0 Gmail integration upgrades, that forthcoming RIM WebKit browser, and a rumored new OS would help push things into the territory of that dream smartphone we pleaded for back in 2008. Coincidence? I think not.

The Infra-Red Keyboard Projector
I just remembered my friend tommo showing me this and though Id share it with the world as its so awesome.
The virtual laser keyboard works by using both infrared and laser technology to produce an invisible circuit and project a full-size virtual QWERTY keyboard on to any surface. The virtual PC keyboard behaves exactly like a real one: direction technology based on optical recognition enables the user to tap the images of the keys, complete with realistic tapping sounds(!), which feeds into the compatible PDA, Smartphone, laptop or PC via bluetooth. A Bluetooth dongle or compatible device is required.

The New BMW Vision Efficient Dynamics Concept Car
this bmw concept car is a straight win

Ahead of the Frankfurt Motor Show starting 14 September, BMW has released the Vision EfficientDynamics Concept. This concept powered by a fuel-efficient 3-cylinder turbodiesel plug-in full-hybrid with one electric motor on each axle. It provides a top speed limited electronically to 155mph with acceleration 0-100 km/h(62mph) in 4.8 seconds. Average fuel consumption is 3.76 liters/100 kilometers.
Technology:
Offering a full-hybrid concept, the BMW Vision EfficientDynamics concept car is powered by a three-cylinder turbodiesel and two electric motors. Overall system output is 262 kW/356 hp, maximum torque 800 Newton-metres/590 lb-ft. All-wheel drive featuring an electric motor on both the front and rear axle.
• Anticipated performance: Acceleration from a standstill to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds, top speed 250 km/h (155 mph) (electronically limited) , fuel consumption in the EU test cycle 3.76 litres/100 km (equal to 75.1 mph imp), CO2 emissions 99 grams/kilometre.
• As a plug-in hybrid, BMW Vision EfficientDynamics is able to cover the entire fuel consumption drive cycle under electric power alone. Taking the sources of energy used for generating the electric power consumed into account (EU electricity mix), this reduces the CO2 emission rating to just 50 grams per kilometre.
• Electric power is generated without the slightest increase in fuel consumption through a particularly efficient concept of Brake Energy Regeneration. Energy is stored in 98 lithium polymer cells. The car is able to cover a distance of approximately 50 km/31 miles in the electric mode alone.
• Aerodynamics developed with know-how from Formula 1. CX drag coefficient optimised to just 0.22. Forward-looking energy management uses the maximum potential available in each case to minimise fuel consumption.
The Watch With No Face
I’ve never been into things like super blinging chains or bracelets, i mean i wear guitar picks around my neck for christ sakes! But the one thing i have a weakness for is watches, especially unusual ones. Well it doesn’t get anymore unusual than this: introducing the Aurora watch by Jihun Yeon. “but pulse, how can you tell the time with no face?’ I hear you ask? simple: One tap of the watch dial activates two lasers that are displayed on the wearers skin, acting as dials to represents hours and minutes. cool no?
