Ive known Big narstie for a very very very long time. So long infact that I can’t even remember when we first met. If youve never heard of Big Narstie before and now decide to google him, you’ll probably be presented with a mass amount of his ‘uncle pain’ videos, giving the impression that he must be some talented new comedian of some sort. Now dont get me wrong, Narst is REALLy REALLy funny, but where he shines even more than his comedic prowess is spitting. This is a monster of a track man. check it out

After 2 whole years of not putting out a proper body of work musically (beside the odd single here and there) I feel like I need to make it up to you, So as well as now going under the new name of Jovel (even though thats my god given name,) I’ve decide to throw out a Brand new EP And I’ll be giving it out a bit differently than the norm..

If you’re not aware of the sick battle rap scene that England has, then here would be a good place to start. Lunar C is definitely one of my favourite battle rappers, and hes pretty damn good on record too. Have a watch of his best bits and you’ll be sure to laugh your ass off

laaaaaarrrrrd have mercy. One of the best performers of our time right now HANDS DOWN. This is definitely not the usual type of music that grabs my attention, but MAN, boy can right a song, AND perform the shit out of it! As if he wasnt killing it enough, he even brought out the red hot chilli peppers. 10/10 for this one bruno, definitely gonna beg my best bud to hook me for some tickets next time he’s in the country!
ok so Lorde and some guy went in the studio, and the guy remade the track royals by himself in a couple of hours, played the guitar in the melody of her vocals, sung the harmonies and then rapped over it. That ‘guy’ was me, and lorde wasnt really there or knew anything about it, but apart from that small detail it definitely happened: Take a look for yourself >
Ive been seeing this guy about for while but I dont get it, everything ive heard sounds like a rapper doing a singy chorus all the way through, almost like you’re waiting for the rapping to kick in all the way through. I mean the songs are fine I guess, and some of the beats are nice, but I just dont understand what hes trying to do… Is this a new genre? what do you think? leave a comment below
