Though it’s not rare to see luxury accessories inspired by mythology, it’s rare to come across something that perfectly pays homage to a metaphoric concept. Jorge Freyre, an industrial designer from Monterreu, Mexico, has designed a concept shower that buys its inspiration from an ancient Mayan god of water, Chaac. Named after the same god, Chaac resolves around the idea that each bath must be a pleasant experience for everyone. For its sheer simplicity in design that combines well with perfection in quality, Chaac will ergonomically be adequate for every person no matter their physique. Keeping the modern smart houses as the basis of its implementation, Chaac would appeal to every user owing to its futuristic and universal aesthetics.
