The New Blacked-Out BlackBerry Curve 8980


Despite the more recent releases of the Curve 8500 series and the Curve 3G, RIM has never really offered up a true successor to the venerable Curve 8900 — a device some would argue remains the prettiest that Waterloo has ever manufactured. Indeed, with the QVGA display and meager cam on the 3G, there’s a pretty magnificent gap between it and the business-class Bold 9700 / 9780… so we’re pretty excited to see a new model called the Curve 8980 get FCC approval. Oh, and what’s more, the filing’s now got access to a user’s manual and external shots where you can definitely picture this as being a proper optical pad-equipped follow-on to the 8900 of old, complete with a 3.2 megapixel cam with flash and — if we had to guess — a high-res display adopted either from the 9780 or the 8900. No word on a release, but here’s the kicker: as far as we can tell from the filing, it’s EDGE-only just like the device it replaces, which is pretty inexcusable for a device that’d presumably be released in 2011. Add 3G, though, and they’ve got a desperately-needed new model to slot in underneath the Bold.

Foki Vacuum Footwear!

They may not be the first vacuum shoes to emerge in concept form, but these so-called Foki shoes from designer Adika Titut Triyugo are certainly the most stylish — at least in an ASIMO chic sort of way. They also boast a few new tricks not seen before, including an LED display on top that indicates how much dirt you’ve picked up, and a unique deign that allows them to be completely folded up when not in use. Of course, “concept” is the key word here, but we’ve got to guess there’s an untapped market out there for wearable appliances. Dust Buster gloves, anyone?

THE Sunday Refix! – Jessie J ‘Do It Like A Dude!’

WEEK 21! The second girl to ever get a refix, JESSIE J!

im really hype about this one as jessies from the uk (which inspired the refix subject) and shes one of the most amazing singer/songwriters of our time!

this whole song was one of he most fun to do and i was sooooo tempted to do the entire song! who knows, maybe i will at another stage!!

well, i hope you guys enjoy this and more importantly, BUY THE SINGLE!! we need songs like this representing our country!

The Sunday Refix! – Wretch32’s ‘TRAKTOR’

WEEK 20! MY VOICE IS GONE STILL! SORRY!

yaaargh its pretty darn bad too, i had a show in madrid on wednesday, came back thursday to realize id lost my voice, had to perform in the g-shock shop on friday (ironically with wretch 32), then did a video shoot for my new single overload on saturday! can you say epic fail?

but hey VERY busy week, but it got done in the end! The mix on this is a liiiiiil bit scrappy but with 12 hours sleep between 4 days what do you want from me!?!

whats that? you want a well mixed refix you say?? very clever lol

anyways people thats it from me till next week! im off to bed! at 6pm! o_O!

The Sunday Refix: Flying High

Week 19!
Another gloooorious sunday with minimum sleep and this week ive decided to refix a track under much criticism, Chipmunks ‘Flying High.’

Now I know Chipmunks attitude doesnt wash well with many people, and his previous singles took a much more solid pop route then other people might have liked, but the bottom line is this track is NO WHERE NEAR as bad as people are making it out to be. It might not be your cup of tea, but its kinda disturbing to see so many people act as if the music is bad just because they dont like his character.

anyway this song was easy peasy, like 2 hours to complete easy! I decided to be more relaxed on the track too. “but pulsey! what made you spit relaxed?’ i hear you cry? NO REASON! i just did haha! welcome to the world of someone whos randomly impulsive haha!

on that note im going to my bed to try and sleep for an hour 😀

The Sunday Refix: Game Over

Week 18!
hello you wonderful lot, so its week 18 and I finished this one early meaning Ive actually slept! hurrah! More anime watching for me today! lol
anyway… so this week was a no brainer, as almost everyone whos anyone is on this track!
Instrumentally there wasnt anything difficult to replicate or add, but I was stumpted on what to do lyric-wise. At first I thought to emulate each of the spitters on the track, but that would be A: VERY patronizing to the artists on here, and B: one hell of a long refix.

I was reading all the comments of the original game over track and then it hit me! Everyone has an opinion of the track, and so do I! so there you have it! I simply spat what I thought of who did what on the tune, ON THE TUNE! 😀
I was gonna leave it there, but i couldnt resist spitting propperly on such a sick beat, so i also snuck in a cheeky 8 bar at the end!
