WEEK 10..
Again i had to pull an all nighter for this this one, a solid 27 hours to be exact. Ive been preparing my ep which is going to go hand in hand with the refix download as well as well as getting a SUPER AWESOME top secret refix organized so it was the only way! but anyway, on with the refix…
this week its my my fave track on boy Example’s MASSIVE track ‘see the sea!’ first time Ive made something even remotely reggae ‘ish’ in my life (I wont lie, I had to do some guitar chord research online!) but aside from that, there was nothing too out of the impulse ordinary instrumentally.
Where it gets cool however is my play of the title!
my freestyle basically explains the mentality of MANY artists that have a bit of a buzz. A lot of new artists that have only begun to gain recognition always seem to act as if they’re the big guy that runs the show, but I explain that they are only the big shark when in the small fish bowl that is the underground scene. My interpretation of “seeing the sea” is that although im in a fish bowl, I am aware how far I still have to go: there’s a whole sea to conquer, i “see the sea” and am not satisfied by being a mere bigger fish in a small pool.
…im rambling arn’t i? lol apologies, i must sleep.
anyway i hope you enjoy!
Till next week…
I’m sure this concept is going to bring smiles to many iGeeks (me included) and keep us lusting for it to become a reality! The Docking and Storage Base is a convenient tray that fits under the screen of the iMac or PC and docks everything ‘i’; iPod, iPhone, iPad. It covers the area below and to the back of the screen allowing you to sync, charge, store and display up to 3 devices. Two of the docks are towards the end of the ramp so that they don’t obstruct the main screen, allowing them to be used as secondary screens (clever!).
The tray also provides easy access to USB ports that are located in the front, plus all the wiring is concealed to give it a clean look. The only wires you’ll see are the ones for a firewire and a power source. Two storage cabinets for other smaller electronic devices, documents and pens, complete this panel’s features.

The new multitouch iPod Nano was made to be strapped to a watch band. A cool idea? You can pick up a 22mm Maratac watch band for about $17, and available in a variety of colors. But you should consider its battery, Apple’s saying the new iPod Nano has 24 hour battery life, so you have to recharge it every night… Anyway, I love this idea, cool watch and cool idea!

So today my interview in THE SUN went up today! check it out HERE Words by Marcus Barnes

Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars first came out for the Nintendo DS back in March, 2009. Since then it’s been ported to the PSP and iOS. Today? There’s Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars HD for the iPad [iTunes link]. I cannot think of another GTA release that’s had so many releases across so many different platforms across such a span of time.
Any new features this time around? Well, as the name implies, the graphics have had a resolution bump. You can also listen to your iTunes music via the Independence FM radio station.

I would imagine that playing the game with the iPad’s touchscreen controls are a little more easy to handle than having to fuss around with a DS stylus.
It’s $9.99, which is quite inexpensive for an entire GTA game.

A new iPhone accessory promises to bring mind-control capabilities to cell phones, signaling the future of laziness handhelds. The PLX’s XWave headset sets you back $100 bones, but lets you control several apps with your brain by reading electrical signals via a sensor placed on your forehead. Upon its October launch, the XWave will work with a few first-party apps that teach users to levitate an onscreen ball, change the screen’s color or cycle through a music library. But PLX Devices will also release a software development kit, so that third parties can come up with interesting new uses for its device.
For folks who don’t have use of their hands, this accessory could let them surf the Web or send text messages. Like the Wii or the iPhone before it, motion-controlling technology has been implemented in surprising ways, like teaching babies to move or monitoring heartbeats. Maybe the XWave can push things forward… telepathically.
