LG’s ‘Nano tech’ .88cm thick tv

It looks like nanotech-based screen technology is nearer than we thought—LG’s claiming its upcoming LEX8 adds “NANO Lighting Technology” to its new top-end LED backlit TV model, the LG LEX8.

LG’s press release doesn’t go into any hardcore technical detail about how this makes its standard LED backlighting any better, simply claiming the new set produces “brighter, clearer and smoother” pictures. The end result is a TV only .88cm thick, which is 0.34 of a standard imperial inch. [LG]

The Sunday Refix : Jungle By Professor Green Ft Maverick Sabre

week 8! Doing this was a little weird as I know maverick sabre and pro pretty well, as well as recently meeting blue bear from true tiger recently (the producer of the track) but hey! at least I know I wont get sued for this one! haha.

This was my very first try attempting a dubstep-type bassline too, and I can tell you now, its not as easy as it looks!

Funny story is I actually had this verse for a couple years. It was supposed to be on my friends track called london zoo that didnt end up coming out and given this tracks theme, it was a perfect match!

I also sliiiightly altered the verses format to give it more of an epic build which i think turned out pretty darn good!

The Playstation Coffee Table


While the Xbox fans are busy bidding for the Iron Man Xbox 360 over at eBay, the PlayStation fans can have a look at this amazing DIY coffee table. A DIY project by Mark M of Australia, the PlayStation Controller Coffee Table has been made out of plywood, MDF and veneer on veneer over a period of 20 weeks. The DIYer used white gloss finish for the whole controller and the black gloss finish for the buttons. It’s not high-tech like the coffee tables we’ve seen earlier, but if you are an avid PlayStation fan, something like this could be a cool addition to your gaming den. If this DIY coffee table was on sale, it could have got its prospective buyer easily.

My Birthday Madness

oooooh garrrrsh! i can easily say that this was the BEST birthday ever!
Although my birthday is the 15th of august, i was instructed by my other half to be up at 8am as she wanted to take me somewhere special. Little did i know that outside my house, my best friends were all waiting for me outside along with what can only be described as a hired disabled bus. Among the guilty arty was rebecca knight, stinkabell, goldielocks and dj tanzanite.

on the bus, i had no idea where we were all going, and apparently, neither did the bus driver…
After circling round london THRICE. we finally got to our destination! THORPE PARK!

it was an awesome day! we laughed, we cried and it rained, but it was awesome all the the same and the best birthday Ive EVER had… but it didnt stop there!

DAY 2! the ACTUAL birthday!

the day consisted of constant drinking, And I honestly didnt plan anything to happen, but as the evening loomed my friends returned, instinctively knowing that then theres a birthday, theres alcohol! (and bbq meats.)

the same faces and a few more joined the festivities and being the lightweight that I am, Im thankful that someone was taking photos to refresh my memory on what exactly happened.

OH and check out what my lil bro ed sheeran got me! my first acoustic guitar!

He’s set the bar REALLY high in the birthday gift department but i will not be out done! any birthday gift ideas to give the edster will be well appreciated lol
