Thirteen-year-old Jamie Edwards from Preston, UK has just became the world’s youngest to achieve nuclear fusion. That’s right, he used all of his Christmas money ($3400) to buy himself a Geiger counter and then set out on building his own nuclear reactor on school premises, with permission of course, and eventually succeeded in smashing two hydrogen atoms to together, making helium through nuclear fusion.
